My project “Fyra nyancer av blått” involving amazing New York based musicians Mathias Kunzli, Asen Doykin and Stockholms based Pär-Ola Landin, just become reality thanks to Stockholms Stad, Statens Musikverk and Konstnärsnämnden!! Thank you very much!

The project will take place between 16. - 20. February 2014 at Hökarängens Kulturförening Panncentralen, Glenn Miller Café and Kungl. Musikhögskolan. Keep posted for more info!

Two days of recording in the iconic Atlantis Studios with JNJO, playing challenging and very interesting music. Album will soon be released.

Finished mixing and just mastered the new album ”Christian Herluf Pedersen Transatlantic - Autumn Sketch” at CPR. I’m looking forward to the release later this fall.

Just returned from Summer Session at Vallekilde. 7 days in jazz heaven with teachers as Brian Blade, Avishai Cohen, Greg Osby, Jamaaladeen Tacuma, Jon Balke, Tony Scherr and Aaron Parks. I’m filled with inspiration and battling a huge sleep deficit.

Returned to Stockholm after 8 days in New York performing 3 shows at The Whynot Jazzroom, Somethin`Jazz and Nublu with Transatlantic. We even joined the radioshow The Pheonix at WNYU.

The tune ”Snail on the Slope” by Asen Doykin from the Album ”Christian Herluf Pedersen Transatlantic - Autumn Sketch” has now been on the top 5 most played tunes on the radio channel P8 Jazz  past 7 days.
